My first evening show at The Liquid Ship went really well.A few friends arrived,Kay from Coach House Upwrite writer's class(an Artist) I was a little nervous at first and my first song Summertime sounded good on guitar and microphone,so went on to play my set and plenty of hand claps,I felt better.I played and sung Summertime,Wonderwall,The Promise,Lucy(The Stranger)and Dear You.Table of students of The RSAMD,Royal Scottish Academy Of Music and Drama appreciated my playing and personality.So a good eve and other performers were good too,I shall return every Wednesday when I can.PS Graeme and Alan hosted show were also excellent songs and playing.A friend Ken Halley,Music Producer will be along to watch me perform.Second Show and I had accompaniment from Graham,who played some groovey guitar leads and chords to my songs Cathedral Song,Sandy(Cashmere Sweaters),Summertime,The Dream.I played very well,so happy.I need to concentrate on singing words out a little more clearly.My friend Daniel,we used to songwrite together and work at Coach House,came by and played,his Soul Kitchen(The Doors) with deep voice and great and clear guitar could have won over an auditorium,I'm proud of him,I have two song of his to upload,Front Page 'Such Touch' & to a Show Time Page 'Far Away' so little improvements in small steps,early days,thank you.RGG My 3rd Show and mosly all Musicians turned up to play and jam,Graham,Ally and Bryan and Mike from Philadelphia,PA and Alan our sound engineer and I played The Promise,The Dream,Dancer and Summertime.I sang out and my guitar playing good,so I enjoyed another good Liquid Ship Wednesday Evening,Thanks to West End,Glasgow.A chilly Wednesday(snowing in Edinburgh)after a 30min wait beside Museum my 18 bus arrived,I popped into Sommerfield to warm up(bought an Embrace album)and onto Liquid Ship.played some good rock'n roll my Promise song to warm up,then The Dream and Mike accompanied me on tom-box,continued by finger picking Dear You Song and then a rousing Dancer Song and Summertime(George Gershwin) to finish,the audience really enjoyed which was really cheering,had my orange juice(free for playing)and listened on in eve as Robert from Switzerland took to stage again(like Nick Drake)dressed for stage with bowtie and suit,his guitar picking beautifull,got a photo of him and chatted after and some other friends too,a nice eve,take care,RGG
